WIPO Section for Central European and Baltic States and Mediterranean Countries invited the IP for Business Division to introduce the forthcoming WIPO IP Diagnostics Tool to a group of Slovenian Companies

An online workshop for the introduction of WIPO IP Diagnostics and Support for Business to a diverse group of Slovenian companies was held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the request of H.E. Anita Pipan, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Slovenia to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva. The WIPO’s Section for Central European and Baltic States and Mediterranean Countries and the IP for Business Division successfully organized the program of the workshop to describe the origins, functioning, and purpose of the forthcoming tool, and to respond to questions from the audience.

After some introductory words by Mr. Guy Pessach, Director of the IP for Business Division, and a welcome message from Mr. Ryszard Frelek, Program Officer, Section for Central European and Baltic States and Mediterranean Countries, a demonstration of WIPO IP Diagnostics was made by Ms. Marta Diaz Pozo, Associate Legal Officer at the IP Commercialization Section, IP for Business Division.

WIPO IP Diagnostics will be officially launched on November 9, 2021 in a virtual event co-organized by WIPO, ICC and ITC. Registration is open for all interested parties at https://www.wipo.int/registration/en/form.jsp?registration_id=435.
