Moving Forward with Merck in the Fight Against NTDs and Malaria
September 23, 2020
The World Intellectual Property Organization welcomes Merck’s September renewal of its membership in WIPO Re:Search.
Since 2014, Merck’s notable contributions to spur innovation and advance scientific exploration have markedly advanced WIPO Re:Search’s search for solutions to the world’s neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and malaria. Through sharing intellectual property resources housed in its library of compounds in Darmstadt, Germany, Merck has enabled researchers worldwide, from California to Cameroon to Australia, to forge ties and collaborate to improve the lives of people in need. WIPO Re:Search looks forward to this continued fruitful partnership to advance the global health agenda.
WIPO Re:Search was founded in 2011. Periodic membership renewals are based upon the date of a member’s joining the consortium.
