New API for WIPO Pearl Multilingual Terminology Portal

An API (Application Programming Interface) is now available for WIPO Pearl. The API allows third-party software automatically to connect to and benefit from WIPO Pearl information and functionalities. This makes it possible, for example, to conduct searches for WIPO Pearl terms without needing to visit the WIPO Pearl website.

In order to start using the API, a request for access must first be sent to WIPO. Once the request has been approved, WIPO will provide a key that will give access to the API. Information on how to request access to the API, obtain the API key, and use the API is given on the WIPO Pearl API page.
