electronic Tendering System

Introduction

The electronic Tendering System (eTS) is now available.  Prospective suppliers are invited to register in the system; this is free of charge.  It is a web-based on-line tendering system with secure access using a bona fide USER NAME and PASSWORD assigned to each eligible company.  The System is available in both English and French.  Once registered vendors can update their registration information anytime and are advised to change their PASSWORD regularly.  Part of the registration procedure is the identification of the types and classes of goods or services that your company is actively selling or providing, using a standardized classification list provided by the system.  This will ensure that your company will be able to receive information on a regular basis about market surveys, RFQs, ITBs, RFPs, notices of award of contracts, and other information that is directly relevant to your current business portfolio.

To access the electronic Tendering System please click here.

UN GLobal Marketplace

Registration under WIPO’s eTS does not automatically result in pre-approval under the UNGM, of which WIPO is an active member and user.  Therefore, it is necessary to follow completely separate registration procedures for WIPO’s eTS and for the UNGM.  Companies who are interested in registering under UNGM may do so by clicking here.

eTS Usage Policy and Legal Disclaimers

The WIPO electronic Tendering System (eTS) is an electronic database that allows you or your company to register its name and area of expertise with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The eTS is only a database. Registration with the WIPO eTS does not constitute in any way pre-clearance or pre-qualification for the participation in any WIPO procurement activity.
WIPO will use its best efforts to ensure that potential vendors registered with the eTS will be informed of WIPO procurement activities that are relevant to their expertise. However, WIPO is not responsible for any failure to contact potential vendors registered with the eTS.
The WIPO eTS is an electronic internet based system of information and it is therefore subject to change without notice. WIPO reserves the right to change and update this site and the information posted on the site at any time. It is the sole responsibility of users of this site to regularly consult the eTS for any changes which may be made to the information found here.
