Digital Recording System for WIPO Conference Meetings

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is an intergovernmental organization with its headquarters in Geneva. It is one of the 16 United Nations specialized agencies and is responsible for promoting the protection of intellectual property throughout the world, including the administration of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), and also the international registration of marks.

 

We are pleased to inform you that WIPO Conference Section is looking to replace the audio cassette-based recording system with a state-of-the-art digital recording system.

 

Furthermore, the WIPO would also like to leverage the video recording and streaming functionality of the digital recording systems to serve as an audio-video feed for web-casting the proceedings of specific conferences on the Internet, and to export and archive recorded audio and video footage for subsequent reuse by other systems, such as for video-on-demand publication.
