CN China (name of Office)
The National Intellectual Property Administration, PRC (CNIPA) has clarified to the IB that the name of the Office in English is China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

CO Colombia (fees)
On 1 January 2019, there was a change in the amount of the transmittal fee, payable to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (Columbia) as receiving Office, and a different amount for electronic filings is now payable, as follows:

GR Greece (language of filing)
The Industrial Property Organization (OBI) (Greece), in its capacity as receiving Office, has notified a change in its requirements concerning the language of filing of international applications – with effect from 1 January 2019, it accepts international applications filed in Greek, in addition to English, French and German.
It should be noted, however, that if an international application is filed in Greek, a translation would have to be furnished in accordance with PCT Rule 12.3.

KE Kenya (electronic filing)
For information on the acceptance, with effect from 1 April 2019, by the Kenya Industrial Property Institute as receiving Office of international applications filed using ePCT-Filing, as well as information on the electronic filing fee reductions listed in item 4 of the Schedule of Fees that will be applicable, see “Electronic Filing and Processing of International Applications”, above.
KZ Kazakhstan (telephone numbers; means of telecommunication; provisions concerning international-type search)
The telephone numbers of the National Institute of Intellectual Property (NIIP) (Kazakhstan) have changed, as follows:

The Office has notified the IB that it has discontinued the use of its facsimile machine and no longer accepts the filing of documents by fax.
Furthermore, there has been a change in the provision of the law of Kazakhstan concerning international-type search. The relevant provision is now: Article 22(7) of the Patent Law.

Search fee (National Institute of Industrial Property (Brazil))
As from 1 May 2019, there will be a change in the amount payable in CHF for an international search carried out by the National Institute of Industrial Property (Brazil), as indicated in Fee Table I(b).
