PCT Fellowship Program for Graduate Students: Call for Applications

WIPO's PCT Information Systems Division organizes a Fellowship Program for computer science specialists with the aim of providing on-the-job experience at an international organization. WIPO is now accepting applications for the 2024 edition of the Program.

What we offer

We will provide training and guidance to participants throughout the period of their fellowship.
A fellowship may be granted for a period of up to 12 months. The contract may be extended one or more times, provided that the maximum cumulative length of the fellowship does not exceed a period of three years.
Fellows salaries are set in accordance with the level of qualifications and experience of the fellow. Details are available on request.
WIPO may consider paying some travel costs in certain circumstances.
Starting date : November 2024

Operations and Support Fellows

Operations and Support Fellows will be involved in overseeing and improving complex and time-sensitive systems that enable a portofolio of business applications to support a highly successfull patent filing treaty.

Requirements

Candidates should be currently pursuing or be a recent graduate of an advanced degree program (Master’s or an equivalent level degree) in computer science or related field. Prior experience in Java development, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, logs shipment infrastructure, containerization and application management would be considered an advantage but it is not a requirement.

Following initial screening, candidates may be requested to take a technical and/or aptitude test.

The closing date for applications is 23:59 (CEST) April 7, 2024.
