PCT Fellowship Program for Graduate Students: Call for Applications

WIPO's PCT Information Systems Division organizes a Fellowship Program for computer science specialists with the aim of providing on-the-job experience at an international organization. WIPO is now accepting applications for the 2024 edition of the Program.

What we offer

  • We will provide training and guidance to participants throughout the period of their fellowship.
  • A fellowship may be granted for a period of up to 12 months. The contract may be extended one or more times, provided that the maximum cumulative length of the fellowship does not exceed a period of three years.  
  • Fellows salaries are set in accordance with the level of qualifications and experience of the fellow. Details are available on request.
  • WIPO may consider paying some travel costs in certain circumstances.
  • Starting date : November 2024

Operations and Support Fellows

Operations and Support Fellows will be involved in overseeing and improving complex and time-sensitive systems that enable a portofolio of business applications to support a highly successfull patent filing treaty.

Candidates should be currently pursuing or be a recent graduate of an advanced degree program (Master’s or an equivalent level degree) in computer science or related field. Prior experience in Java development, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, logs shipment infrastructure, containerization and application management would be considered an advantage but it is not a requirement.
