The national patent collections of Norway and Belgium are now available in WIPO’s global patent search system PATENTSCOPE. The Norwegian collection includes over 225,000 patent documents while the national patent collection of Belgium over 326,500 patent documents.
With the inclusion of these two national collections, PATENTSCOPE now provides access to a total of 78 national and regional collections.
In addition to the aforementioned collections, the Japanese classifications FI and F-terms for the national Japanese collection were also added. This enhancement further enriches the search capabilities within PATENTSCOPE, facilitating more refined and precise exploration of Japanese patents.
