International Seminar on “Harnessing Public Research for Innovation in the Time of COVID-19 and Beyond – The Role of Knowledge Transfer Policies”

As the world is still struggling to cope with the implications of the COVID-19 crisis, the role of effective public-private knowledge transfer for medical and other innovations is more crucial than ever.

WIPO - in collaboration with AUTM – The Leading Association in Technology Transfer, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) – is holding an international seminar to discuss how to promote the knowledge transfer from public research into the market place in more effective manners.

The event will include presentations by renowned experts and panel discussions will focus on different challenges for policy and the future work of WIPO. The working language will be English with simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish.
