Assembly of the Lisbon Union (September 24 to October 2, 2018)

At its meeting from September 24 to October 2, 2018, the Assembly of the Lisbon Union:

• adopted the amendments to the Schedule of Fees included in the Common Regulations under the Lisbon Agreement and the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement, in order to introduce a reduction to 50 per cent of the prescribed amount of fees to be paid by least developed countries (LDCs) in respect of international registrations and in respect of each modification of an international registration; and
• decided that the fee reductions mentioned in subparagraph (i) start to apply three years after the entry into force of the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement.
