Madrid System Seminar

You are invited to register now to attend the Madrid System Seminar at the Headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 18 and 19, 2015.

Who will benefit?

The Seminar is a must for current and potential users of the Madrid System wanting to improve practical skills in filing applications and managing registrations. Hands-on sessions featuring, where possible, real-life case examples are planned for trademark holders, agents, paralegals and IP professionals.  Representatives of IP Offices will also benefit from the opportunity to interact with users and to learn more about the practical use of the System.

Seminar highlights:

  • Concurrent sessions for new and advanced users on effective use of Madrid E-Services
  • “How to” demos on completing Madrid application forms, including Official Form MM2
  • Information on filing and examination procedures before an IP Office, including tips on how to avoid irregularities
  • Practical information on handling legal matters under the Madrid System from a leading European Trademark attorney
  • Interactive panel sessions with WIPO Madrid experts on registration and management procedures

One to one discussions with WIPO examiners are also available on request during coffee breaks and lunches.

How can I register?

Access the registration form, enter your details and pay the registration fee via bank transfer, WIPO Current Account or credit card. The registration fee of 600 Swiss francs includes all seminar materials as well as lunch, morning and afternoon teas for two days.
