|Title:||The 2007 Digital Music Survey|
|Author:||Russell Hart and Steve Evans [Entertainment Media Research]|
|Objective:||To test consumer tastes and purchasing behaviour.|
|Sample:||1.700+ music consumers|
Legal downloading is increasing, but at a slower rate than before. Unauthorised downloading is now at its highest level after last year's signs of decline - consumers are less concerned about prosecution. 62% had heard of Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology, but about two thirds argued that this interfered with their rights to listen to music on different platforms.
