"Extraordinary Stories Student Awards": awards given to students who have completed science and engineering projects that tie directly to the fourteen Grand Challenges as outlined by the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) - a grouping of critical problems in areas such as environment, energy, education, and security that must be solved to ensure a sustainable future; objective: to support innovation and to celebrate student achievement
"Kauffman Foundation Outstanding Postdoctoral Entrepreneur Award" (in collaboration with the National Postdoctoral Association): recognises and celebrates a scientific researcher who has successfully commercialised his or her discoveries through entrepreneurship
"Emerging Postdoctoral Entrepreneur Award": recognises a postdoctoral researcher who is seeking to commercialize his or her intellectual property
"Entrepreneur Postdoctoral Fellows Program"; objective: to cultivate entrepreneurs from among the postdoctoral community; educates and trains scientist-founders who will create the high-growth technology companies of tomorrow
"Kauffman Labs for Enterprise Creation": offer an intensive, hands-on program to founders who want to make a huge difference, teaching them how to catalyze the creation of their companies (aimed at education market companies)
"Women in Science and Engineering Business Idea Competition" aimed US-based female scientists and engineers; designed to illuminate world-changing concepts that have significant commercialization potential, and to escalate their visibility so that more female scientists and engineers are encouraged to pursue their entrepreneurial ideas
"iStart": online platform that helps organizations simplify how they market and administer business plan competitions worldwide; iStart also is designed to connect entrepreneurs to a network of support, including mentors and others who can assist them in the growth of their businesses
