"Generation 21" education programme aimed at to interest children, teens and students in technology, science and mathematics:
- Pre-school level: "experiment kits" / "discovery boxes" filled with science experiments for pre-school children permitting them to satisfy their curiosity, experience the fun of discovery and explore the fascinating world of science and technology
- Secondary school: annual student competition ("Schülerwettbewerb", since 2007) in math, science and technology; "Partner School Programme" (Partnerschulprogramm); "Siemens Science Camp" in math and physics for girls; touring exhibition "Everything is number" ("Alles ist Zahl"); "Talent Academy"; teaching materials (e.g. the Siemens media collections)
- University level: mentoring programme "YOLANTE" (Young Ladies’ Network of Technology) supporting ambitious women in scientific and technical fields of study; Siemens master programme; Siemens / DAAD postgraduate Program; Ernst von Siemens doctoral scholarships; Werner von Siemens excellence award; corporate ambassadors (guest lecturers)
