Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM) (the Malaysian Foundation for Innovation) [since 2008] promoting creativity and innovation among Malaysian citizens, especially targeting children and youth, women, rural folk, people with disabilities and non-government organizations; objective: to promote and champion innovation, and by doing so, to mobilize Malaysians to embrace and practice creativity and innovation
Activities include:
- "MyIdeas" platform (2010) for Malaysians to have their creativity recognised and rewarded with the best ideas being made into reality; objective: to encourage and bring together ideas from all levels of members of the public and to convert these ideas into best practices with the objective to improve the society and overall Malaysian life; includes "MyIdeas@Schools" bank of creative and innovative ideas by students
