Hague System – Reductions in individual designation fees: Russian Federation, European Union and African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI)

From January 1, 2024, there will be a reduction in the individual designation fees applicable when designating the Russian Federation, the European Union or the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) in an international application or in the renewal of an international registration.

The new lower fees will be as follows:

Russian Federation

  • 107 Swiss francs for the first design and 22 Swiss francs for each additional design included in an international application;
  • First renewal: 170 Swiss francs;
  • Second renewal: 417 Swiss francs;
  • Third renewal: 620 Swiss francs;
  • Fourth renewal: 1,079 Swiss francs.

  • 59 Swiss francs per design included in an international application;
  • 30 Swiss francs per design when renewing an international registration.

African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI)

  • 73 Swiss francs for a single deposit and 110 Swiss francs for a multiple deposit;
  • 168 Swiss francs per design when renewing an international registration.
