Hague Users Excused from Failure to Meet Time Limits due to Covid-19 as a Natural Calamity

April 28, 2020

Measures have been taken by the International Bureau addressed to Hague applicants, holders of international registrations and IP Offices excusing them, by reason of Covid-19 related issues, from failure to meet a time limit (i) for transmission of a communication, (ii) for submission of information to correct an irregularity, or (iii) to pay fees, including renewal fees, to the International Bureau.  Further, submission of evidence concerning Covid-19 related issues will not be required.

However, these measures do not cover payment of the second part of the individual designation fee.

For further details concerning these measures, please refer to Information Notice No. 14/2020.

In case of questions, please access Contact Hague and we will respond as soon as possible.
