Features and benefits

When preparing an international design application, use the Hague Member Profiles Database to uncover details about IP offices in your target markets, for example, whether a deferment of publication is allowed or the maximum duration of protection.  After you’ve registered your design through the Hague System, the database’s simple interface gives you access to key procedures and time limits applicable in the countries or regions of members you have designated under your international registration.

Using the Database

Get started with the Hague Member Profiles Database in two easy steps: first, select the member(s) you are interested in, then determine the type of information you’re looking for.

Choose from a wide range of data including:

  • Members that do not allow deferment of publication or those that allow it for a limited period
  • All the declarations made by each member
  • Information on each member’s examination procedures
  • Information on opposition procedures or responding to refusals
  • Contact information for each Office

Once you’ve found the information you’re looking for, the Hague Member Profiles Database also allows you to save, share or print your results quickly and easily.
