After filing your application, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
If you filed through eHague, this acknowledgement of receipt is available in PDF format via eHague.
Upon receipt of your application, the International Bureau of WIPO will proceed to the examination of your application.
If your application complies with the prescribed formal requirements, your industrial designs will be registered. You will then receive a certificate and your industrial designs will be published according to the publication options you selected.
If your application contains irregularities, you will receive a letter inviting you to correct them. The letter will indicate the necessary corrections to be carried out, as well as the deadline to communicate your corrections. It is important to observe the deadline to avoid your abandonment of your application. Upon receipt of your corrections, your application will be re-examined.
Your international application will be equivalent to a regular filing within the meaning of Article 4 of the Paris Convention. If you are seeking to claim priority based on your international application, you may wish to order priority documents (certified copies).
