WIPO PCT Seminar Returns for Two Days of Practical Training for Advanced Users

WIPO's flagship seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) returns to Geneva this fall, on September 30 and October 1, 2026. The 2026 edition brings together experienced users who work with the PCT System every day, and PCT experts. Designed for seasoned practitioners and patent professionals, this Advanced PCT Seminar offers two days of lectures, practical discussions, and hands-on sessions.

What to expect

Each presentation is followed by a hands-on training session, applying the legal and procedural concepts covered in practical scenarios. Sessions address best practices across the international, post-filing, and national-entry phases.

The Seminar is conducted in English and is intended exclusively for experienced PCT users, such as paralegals, foreign filing specialists, and patent agents or attorneys. It is not designed for those who are new to the PCT.
