WIPO Hosts Regional Webinars in Russian for CACEEC: “PCT system: Priority Corrections and other Corrections in PCT International Applications”

On April 28 and May 19, 2026, WIPO hosts its latest regional webinars in Russian, titled “PCT System: Priority Corrections and other Corrections in PCT International Applications”.

The webinars introduce participants to key aspects of making priority corrections and other corrections in PCT applications. As the topic covers considerable details, WIPO is organizing two webinars to fully cover the topic.

What to Expect

Organized in cooperation with the PCT International Cooperation Division’s Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC) and the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation, these free webinars form part of a series of Russian-language PCT events scheduled for 2026.

The first session covers:

  • Priority corrections
  • Corrections of defects
  • Corrections of obvious mistakes
  • Recording changes in certain indications in the request or the demand

The second session covers:

  • Missing elements and parts
  • Erroneously filed elements and parts
  • Time limit for incorporation by reference
  • Confirmation of incorporation by reference of elements and parts

Attendees can also participate in a live Q&A session at the end of each webinar.

Good to know: session language and certificates

The webinars are presented in Russian and intended for participants from CACEEC, although participants from other countries are welcome to attend. Please note that no translation or interpretation services will be provided during the sessions.

Participants who attend the sessions can request a WIPO Certificate of Participation. To receive a certificate, please enter your first and last name in Russian when registering for the webinar. A WIPO IP Portal is required for registration. If you do not have a WIPO  account, you can create one for free.
