As part of a recent survey of Chinese users of WIPO global IP services, Mr. Bai Guangqing, senior counsellor of WOC conducted in-depth visits to leading enterprises such as Xiaomi, BOE and Lenovo, as well as IP service providers including Unitalen Attorneys at Law, Lungtin IP Attorney and Leader Patent and Trademark Firm. The survey findings indicate that Chinese enterprises highly value the PCT system for its responsiveness to user needs, early access to international search reports and the availability of RMB-denominated fee payments. The Hague System has also been widely recognized for significantly reducing the cost and complexity of overseas industrial design protection. At the same time, users put forward suggestions for further optimization, including the quality of published drawings, the harmonization of examination standards and greater flexibility in procedural document submissions, and expressed expectations for WIPO to further strengthen system coherence and localized service support.

In addition, Ms. Deng Yuhua, Counsellor of WOC recently visited leading enterprises in China's gaming industry. During the meeting with Century Games (a subsidiary of Century Huatong), both sides explored how WIPO's global services and resources could support gaming companies in expanding overseas. In discussions with the emerging technology company Beijing MetaApp Information Technology Co., Ltd., in-depth exchanges were held regarding intellectual property protection and potential cooperation opportunities for its platforms such as "233 Leyuan."
