Attention International Trademark Registration Holders and Representatives: We Need Your Input

We are conducting a survey to gather insights on whether Offices of designated Madrid System members should be required to issue a national or regional certificate when granting protection or renewing an international trademark registration – and what the practical advantages might be.

Are you an international trademark registration holder or representative? We would welcome your feedback by April 24, 2026.

Your input matters

Your feedback is essential to help us understand the real-world needs of Madrid System users, and to keep improving the Madrid System’s legal framework.

The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your anonymous responses will directly inform discussions at the next Working Group session in October 2026.
