Report Launch: Gender Gap in Industrial Designs of Central European and Baltic States

On March 10, 2025, we launch our latest report on women designers in the Central European and Baltic States. The event will take place online from 10:00 CET to 12:00 CET.

Over the past three decades, the industrial design sector in Central European and Baltic States (CEBS) has experienced remarkable growth. A crucial aspect of this evolution is the growing participation of women in industrial design. However, while their presence has increased steadily, growing from 9.5% to 18% between 2013 and 2021, a substantial gender gap persists.

The report explores women participation in industrial designs in Central European and Baltic States across years and industries, making projections on when the region will be able to reach parity.

The launch event will feature insights from women designers from the region, as well as representative from the Polish, Hungarian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian intellectual property offices.
