Invitation: Technical Workshop on Using WIPO’s World Gender Name Dictionary

This year’s World Intellectual Property Day celebrates women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs. How can we identify these path-breakers and track their innovative and creative activities?
On Friday, April 28, 2023, at 3pm (CEST) WIPO economists will introduce WIPO’s World Gender Name Dictionary, and show you how to use it. This workshop will include:
- Where to find WIPO’s World Gender Name Dictionary (WGND);
- How to apply it using STATA or Python; and
- Tips and tricks when applying the WGND.
This technical workshop will take place online.
