Priority Claim Considered Not to Have Been Made

Section 403

Where the International Bureau declares, under Rule 26bis.2(b) Transmittal of Protest against Payment of Additional Fees 
and Decision Thereon Where International Application 
Is Considered to Lack Unity of Invention , that a priority claim is considered not to have been made, that Bureau shall enclose the priority claim concerned within square brackets, draw a line between the square brackets, while still leaving legible the indications concerned, and enter, in the margin, the words "NOT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR PCT PROCEDURE (IB)" or their equivalent in the language of publication of the international application, and shall notify the applicant accordingly. The International Bureau shall also notify the receiving Office and the International Searching Authority.
