The WIPO and the WHO have absolutely no jurisdiction nor right to decide which words can and cannot be trademarked for private, commercial use. This is nothing but an attempt by the World Health Organization to obtain exclusive ownership of certain words for their own use and control, and has nothing to do with the public interest. If the WHO succeeds in commandeering health and drug related words, we will be led straight into similar organizations laying claim to and stealing other trademarks and copyrights from other companies in other industries. No organization should be allowed to have the authority to dictate who can use any word nor how that word can be used.
