Therese Isaksson has been a Partner at Advokatfirman Lindahl’s Stockholm office since 2008, having joined the firm as an associate in 2000. She focuses her practice in the areas of Litigation and Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law and Commercial Law.

Ms. Isaksson is experienced in commercial dispute resolution matters and heads the litigation practice at the Stockholm office. She represents clients in Swedish proceedings and international arbitrations under rules such as the SCC, ICC, FCC (Finland) and ad-hoc arbitrations including the UNCITRAL rules. She is also appointed arbitrator by the SCC and in ad hoc arbitrations. Her experience includes contentious matters in many industries, including information technology, telecom and transportation.

During her career she has served as an Assistant Judge at the Stockholm District Court and Court of Appeal (Svea hovrätt) in the Commercial Disputes and IP Departments. She has been a visiting lawyer at the Nabarro law firm in London.

Ms. Isaksson is the present chair of the board of Young Arbitrators Stockholm (YAS) and member of the Swedish ICC reference group for arbitration. She regularly lectures inter alia arbitration law at Stockholm university and ethics for new members of the Swedish Bar Association. Co-author of Arbitration in Sweden (Jure, 2011). Ranked as ”Up and Coming” in Dispute resolution by Chambers Europe and Chambers Global.

She is fluent in English and has a basic understanding of the other Scandinavian languages and German.
