Tobias Edvardssonis a Senior Associate with Adokatfirman Lindahl and has been working in the Lindahl Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) group since 2008. Prior to joining Lindahls, after more than ten years as an IT entrepreneur and IT consultant and after successfully founding several IT-companies in Sweden, Europe, and the US, he received his LL.M. (jur.kand./juristexamen) from Stockholm University, Stockholm in 2007 and his CPE/GDL Distinction (English legal academic qualification) from Brunel University, London in 2008. In connection with Brunel, he was awarded the Sweet & Maxwell Award of Excellence for outstanding academic achievements.

Mr. Edvardsson specializes in IT and data law, focusing on outsourcing, system delivery, software licensing and cloud computing. He is the co-author of the Swedish standard agreement on Cloud Computing (IT&Telekomföretagen Cloud Computing version 2010) and also the co-author of the official commentary and guide to this standard agreement. He heads the Lindahl data privacy and protection practice (Stockholm office) and has advised numerous large and international companies on the application of Swedish data protection law. He focuses on general data protection law, privacy issues in relation to telecommunications law and privacy issues, and data processing in pharmaceutical, life sciences, and biotech companies. Mr. Edvardsson is fluent in Swedish and English.
