NEW Updated Dispute Service for .HN (Honduras)

Since 2009, the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has collaborated with NIC.HN to provider dispute resolution services for .HN domain names.  

 As of May 2025, the .HN dispute Policy and Rules available in Spanish only have been revised.

 The .HN dispute Policy is a variation of the UDRP:

  • It is sufficient for the complainant to prove that either registration or use of the .HN domain name is in bad faith
  • The procedure does not require the parties to send hard copies of their pleadings and annexes anymore
  • The Mutual Jurisdiction for domain name disputes is the competent Courts of Honduras.
