WIPO Summer Schools Go Online

April 20, 2020

In light of the uncertainties arising from COVID-19, the WIPO Academy and its partners the University of Geneva (UNIGE) in Switzerland and George Mason University in the United States of America (USA) are now offering their two summer school programs on intellectual property (IP) exclusively online. The programs will be taught in real time and aim to provide a high quality IP educational experience for young professionals, university students and government officials worldwide.

Both programs are offered in English via video-conferencing tools, and include a range of online lectures and webinars covering IP case studies, in addition to interactive discussions on selected IP topics and simulation exercises.

WIPO-USA Summer School on IP

Registration for the online edition of the WIPO-USA Summer School on IP is open until June 3, and the program will take place from June 8 to July 19 via WebEx. To take account of time differences, we would strongly encourage that only participants from North and South America and the Caribbean apply. Participants from Europe, the Africa and Arab regions are encouraged to enroll for the WIPO-UNIGE Summer School.
