In 2003, the share of national patent applications filed by women increased in relation to previous years. The table below shows details of the changes in the patent applications filed by women inventors in Morocco during the past five years.

Furthermore, it should be noted that in 2003 Morocco hosted the World Summit on Women, which
took place from June 28 to 30 in Marrakech (MOROCCO). The program for the Summit included a round
table (Workshop B, held on June 30, 2003) on the theme "How to protect your products and ideas:
intellectual property", chaired in particular by a female official from the Moroccan Industrial and

En 2003, la part des demandes de brevet nationales déposées par des femmes a connue une augmentation par rapport aux années précédentes. Le tableau ci-après relate lévolution des demandes de brevets déposées par des femmes inventeurs au Maroc durant les cinq dernières années.

Par ailleurs, il y a lieu de noter, quen 2003 le Maroc a abrité le sommet global des femmes qui a eu lieu du 28 au 30 juin à Marrakech (MAROC). Le programme de ce sommet a inclut une table ronde (Atelier B du 30 juin 2003) sur le thème "Comment protéger vos produits et idées : la propriété intellectuelle" animée notamment par une femme responsible à lOffice Marocain de la Propriété Industrielle et Commerciale.
