This version of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 (FEPA) incorporates amendments up to the Welfare of Animals (2011 Act) (Commencement and Transitional Provisions No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012 (see the 'List of Commencement Orders yet to be applied to the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985').
Changes and effects yet to be applied to the whole Act associated Parts and Chapters:
- Blanket amendment words substituted by The Treaty of Lisbon (Changes in Terminology) Order 2011 art. 3 4;
- Whole provisions yet to be inserted into this Act (including any effects on thoseprovisions):
- section 6A inserted by S.S.I. 2011/202 art. 10 (This Order is the last one that amends the FEPA, which incorporates section 6A).
-section 7A(2)-(5) inserted by 2008 c. 32 Sch. 1 para. 2(b);
- section 8A inserted by 2009 c. 23 Sch. 8 para. 5.
Section16(2)(j) of Part III of the Act sets out general provisions for the release of information relating to pesticides to the public subject to the powers of the Ministers, which are implemented by the Regulation 8 of the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986.
