Stockholm Act (1967): Accession by the Soviet Union was accompanied by the following declaration: "While acceding to the Nice Agreement the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics considers it necessary to declare that the provisions of Article 14 of the Agreement providing for a possibility of its application to colonies and dependent territories is in contradiction with Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations 1514 (XV) of December 14, 1960."
