Declarations made upon ratification:
1. "In accordance with Article 27, paragraph 2, of the Convention, Sweden designates as the central authority for sending and answering requests for mutual assistance, the execution of such requests or their transmission to the authorities competent for their execution:
Ministry of Justice, Division for Criminal Cases and International Judicial Co-operation, Central Authority, SE-103 33 STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN."
2. "In accordance with Article 24, paragraph 7.a, of the Convention, Sweden designates as the authority responsible for making or receiving requests for extradition or provisional arrest in the absence of a treaty:
Ministry of Justice, Division for Criminal Cases and International Judicial Co-operation, Central Authority, SE-103 33 STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN."

Reservations made upon ratification:
1. "In accordance with Article 29, paragraph 4, of the Convention, Sweden declares that it reserves the right to refuse a request for mutual assistance with preservation of stored computer data in cases where there is reasons to believe that at the time of disclosure the condition of dual criminality cannot be fulfilled."
2. "In accordance with Article 14, paragraph 3.a, of the Convention, Sweden declares that it reserves the right to apply real time collection of traffic data only to offences and categories of offences specified in Chapter 27, Section 19, third paragraph of the Swedish Code of Judicial Procedure."
3. "In accordance with Article 14, paragraph 3.b, of the Convention, Sweden declares that it reserves the right to apply real time collection of traffic data and interception of content data to communications being transmitted within a computer system of a service provider, which system is being operated for the benefit of a closed group of users, and does not employ public communications networks and is not connected with another computer system."
