The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, and by virtue of the authority conferred upon Her by section 159 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988(a), is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows-

1.-(I) This Order may be cited as the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 22nd April 2003.

(2) In this Order "the Principal Order" means the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) Order 1999(b).

2.-( I) Schedule I to the Principal Order shall be amended as follows.

(2) The following shall be inserted into the list of entries in proper alphabetical order:

Armenia

Cambodia (27th September 1957)

Jordan

Oman

Sudan

Tonga.

(3) The words "Kampuchea (27th September 1957)" shall be omitted.

(4) After the word "Taiwan", the date "(10th July 1985)" shall be omitted.

(5) After the word "Tajikistan", the date "(25th December 1991)" shall be omitted.

to the Principal Order shall be amended by inserting the following into the list of entries in proper alphabetical order:

4.-( I) Schedule 3 to the Principal Order shall be amended as follows.

Croatia (20th April 2000)

Estonia (13th November 1999)

*Georgia (14th June 2000)

*Jordan (11th April 2000)

*Taiwan (1st January 2002)

Ukraine (12th June 2002).

(3) The asterisk before each of the following entries shall be omitted:

Liechtenstein

Nicaragua.

(4) After the words "United States" there shall be inserted "of America".

5. Paragraph 2 of Schedule 5 to the Principal Order shall be omitted.
