SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO THE IPO FEE STRUCTURE

Pursuant to the authority granted under Section 7.1(a) of Republic Act No. 8293, the Rules and Regulations Establishing the Fee Structure of the Intellectual Property Office that took effect on 08 June 2000, is hereby amended as follows:

Section 1. To correct the erroneous reference made to Section 8.1 instead of 8.0, the last sentence of Section 8.2 (Re-enlistment) Part III of the IPO Fee Structure is hereby amended as follows:

“Section 8.2 XXX Thereafter, Section 8.0 shall be observed.”

Section 2. Filing of Certified Copies. The Records officer is hereby directed to immediately file three (3) certified copies of these Rules with the University of the Philippine Law Center, and one (1) certified copy each with the Office of the President, the Senate of the Philippines, the House of Representatives, the Supreme Court of the Philippines and the National Library.

Section 3. Effectivity. This amendment shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Makati, this 4th day of January 2002.
