PATENTS ACT, 1964 (SECTION 93)
(DECLARATION) ORDER, 1976.

STATUTORY INSTRUMENT.

S.I. No. 314 of 1976.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 93 (1) of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964), and with a view to the fulfillment of an arrangement with the Government of India concerning the protection of inventions, hereby made the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Patents Act, 1964 (Section 93) (Declaration) Order, 1976.
2. It is hereby declared that India is a convention country for the purposes of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964).

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government,
this 20th day of December, 1976.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)
