REGISTER OF TRADE MARK AGENTS (AMENDMENT)
RULES, 1985.

S.I. No. 371 OF 1985.

I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 69 of the Trade Marks Act, 1963 (No. 9 of 1963), and of the Trade, Commerce and Tourism (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1983 (S.I. No. 384 of 1983), hereby make the following Rules:

1.-
(1) These Rules may be cited as the Register of Trade Mark Agents (Amendment) Rules, 1985.
(2) These Rules shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1985.
(3) The Register of Trade Mark Agents Rules, 1964 (S.I. No. 35 of 1964), and these Rules may be cited together as the Register of Trade Mark Agents Rules, 1964 and 1985.
2. The Register of Trade Mark Agents Rules, 1964, are hereby amended by -
(a) the deletion of Rule 7(2), and
(b) the substitution for the Schedule thereto of the following Schedule:
SCHEDULE
Fees payable in relation to the registration of trade mark agents.

1. On application for registration in the register of trade mark agents

2. For registration in the register of trade mark agents

50.00

3. Annual fee for renewal of registration as a trade mark agent, payable before 1st December in each year in respect of the following year

100.00
