Historical Information

Republic of Moldova: Signature: September 9, 1994; Ratification: November 16, 1995; Entry into force: February 16, 1996.
A notification from the Government of the Republic of Moldova was deposited on October 26, 2011. This notification contained the denunciation of the Eurasian Patent Convention with the following declaration: "Such denunciation shall not affect granted euroasiatic patents and applications made according to the provisions of the abovementioned Convention prior to its denunciation. These patents and applications continue to have full effect for the Republic of Moldova until expiry of their validity period according to the procedures set forth in the Convention". In conformity with Article 27 of the said Convention, this denunciation took effect, with respect to the Republic of Moldova, on April 26, 2012.
