Year of Version 2008 Dates Entry into force: March 29, 2008 Adopted: March 14, 2008 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter IP Regulatory Body, Other Notes The Ministry of Science and Technology in Vietnam is a governmental department, which performs the functions of state management of science and technology including: scientific and technological activities, scientific and technological development, intellectual property, standardization, measurement and quality control, atomic energy, radiation and nuclear safety, and state management of public services in the domains under its management in accordance with the law. (Article 1 'Position and functions')
