The Legal Services Act 2007 (Chapter 29) is structured into 9 Parts and 21 Schedules.
Section 211 of this Act specifies that certain sections (sections 208(2) to (5), 212 and 214) in the Act entered in to force on the day that the Act was passed.
The remaining sections entered into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor appoints by order.
Sections 184 and 185 of Part 8 of this Act contains provisions relating to trade mark and patent attorneys.
Sections 40, 109 to 115 of Schedule 21, which interprets Section 208 provide for the amendments of the Patents Act 1977 (c. 37) and the Trade Marks Act 1994 (c. 26).
