Year of Version 2007 Dates Amended up to: December 6, 2007 Published: September 12, 1913 Adopted: August 12, 1913 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Trademarks, Competition, Other, Patents (Inventions) Notes This consolidated version of the Code of Obligations and Contracts takes into account amendments up to Law No. 53-05 on the Electronic Exchange of Legal Data, which was promulgated by Dahir No. 1-07-129 of 19 Kaada 1428 (November 30, 2007), and published in the Official Bulletin No. 5584 on December 6, 2007. The notification by Morocco to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states: 'This Code deals with principles of rights relating to obligations stemming from agreements and other declarations of will, quasi-contracts and intentional and non-intentional torts. It considers the use of a name, mark, label or emblem of another trader as unfair competition (see Article 84).'
