Year of Version 2018 Dates Entry into force: June 5, 1963 Adopted: November 26, 1962 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, Other Notes This consolidated version of the Criminal Code takes into account amendments up 'Law No. 103-13 on Combating Violence against Women (promulgated by Dahir No. 1-18-19 du 5 Joumada II 1439 (February 22, 2018)', which entered into force on September 12, 2018, 6 months after the day of its publication in the General Edition of the Official Bulletin No. 6655 of 23 Joumada II 1439 (March 12, 2018), in accordance with its Article 18.

Book III, Title I of this consolidated version of the Criminal Code provides sanctions for trademark and copyright infringement (Chapter IV, Section I Bis, Article 267-3; Chapter VI, Section II, Articles 346 & 347; and Chapter IX, Section VII).
