Year of Version 2018 Dates Entry into force: April 10, 1998 Adopted: March 30, 1998 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Undisclosed Information (Trade Secrets) Notes This consolidated version of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 27 of March 30, 1998, on Commercial Secrets incorporates all the amendments up to Law No. 88 of August 6, 2018, which entered into force on September 2, 2018.

Article 4 of the said Law No. 88 introduces amendments to paragraph 2 of section 2 of Article 11 and sections 1 and 2 of Article 12 under Chapter III of this consolidated version of the Law on Commercial Secrets, which relates to the inclusion of new wordings 'the financial intelligent unit' that replace the words “the authorized body for counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and financing of terrorism” are replaced by the words“; and which provides for the granting of access to commercial secrets to the financial intelligent unit.
