The said Act No. 217/2018 introduces the amendments to Chapter 44, section 1, and Chapter 47, sections 1 and 8 of the consolidated version.

Chapter 30 of this consolidated version of the Penal Code contains, inter alia, provisions regarding business espionage (section 4), violation of a business secret (section 5), misuse of a business secret (section 6), definition of business secret (section 11), and criminal liability for the misuse of business secret (section 13).
Chapter 49 contains provisions relating to criminal offences for the infringement of copyright and intellectual property (sections 1-7).
