This consolidated version of the Criminal Procedure Code incorporates all the amendments up to 'Law No. 162 of July 28, 2017, on Amendments to Certain Laws concerning the Reform of the Law Enforcement System, Ensuring Effective Fight against Corruption and Economic Crimes', which was published in the Official Gazette on August 8, 2017, and entered into force 10 days after the date of its publication.
For the amendments introduced by the said Law No. 162, see the following provisions of the consolidated version:
- General Part, Section I, Chapter 1, Article 5; Section II, Chapter 5, Article 38;
- Special Part, Section VII, Chapter 21, Articles 161 and 163.
This consolidated Code will be repealed on January 1, 2019, by the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 10 of January 24, 2017.
