Year of Version 2009 Dates Adopted: November 25, 2009 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Geographical Indications, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes Article 4 states that any international conventions with other States and international organizations regarding the certification of the place of origin have the same legal force as this Law.
Article 21 states that if misleading documents are submitted or the certificate of the place of origin is falsified, the certificate of the place of origin is not to be issued or the certificate of the place of origin is to be returned or subject to a fine, respectively. Article 22 states that any person who infringes this Law is subject to administrative and criminal liabilities.
