Notes:	New Law published in the Official Journal of the Federation on March 23, 2007 The purpose of this Law is to regulate the use and protection of the red cross emblem and the name "Red Cross" and other distinctive signs provided for identification purposes, in accordance with the provisions of the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and, where applicable, their Additional Protocols, as well as other legislation in force in the country.
