Year of Version 2006 Dates Entry into force: July 22, 2006 Adopted: June 13, 2006 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Trademarks, Competition, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes The Unified Law for Anti-Dumping and Compensatory and Preventive Measures for Countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf contains provisions on the imposition of provisional and final measures and their form (Articles 3-6); the procedures for complaints and investigation (Article 7), formation of Standing Committee and its competency (Articles 8 & 9).
The provisions of the Law provide for penalties for the offenders in case of violation of the Law (Article 14).
